Réveillon in Lisbon

Make the most of your visit to the Portuguese capital and celebrate the Réveillon in Lisbon! This year there is no shortage of options in the city to celebrate the entry into the new year. From private events that take place all over the city to dinners aboard a cruise ship, lots of music, and entertainment. Take a look at our suggestions:

Réveillon at Praça do Comércio

The biggest and most popular party and fireworks show happen in the city center, in Praça do Comércio (Terreiro do Paço). The entrance is free of charge, and there are usually concerts by Portuguese artists and lots of entertainment. Countdown begins as midnight approaches, and everyone prepares their champagne bottles and plastic cups.

The party usually starts late, so you still have time to visit the many bars and restaurants nearby. After the party in Praça do Comércio, people fill the bars in Rua Cor de Rosa (and nearby) in Cais do Sodré or in Bairro Alto.

If you still want to watch the fireworks, these are the best places to do it:

    • St. Jorge Castle
    • Belém
    • Parque das Nações
    • Almada
    • Cascais

Réveillon with Funk Music at Coliseu dos Recreios

This year, Coliseu dos Recreios has prepared a New Year’s Eve to the sound of Brazilian music.

It is called “I Love Baile Funk” and promises to bring Jovem Dionísio from the hit “Acorda Pedrinho.” Supa Squad, DJ Fresh P, and Big are other artists who will also be present. New Year’s Eve at Coliseu dos Recreios will have two dance floors: the Arena I Love Baile Funk (in the center of the performance hall) and the Friendzone Heartbreak Club (in the foyer).

Enter the new year in style with Brazilian rhythms!

Réveillon with Revenge of the 2000s

Revenge of the 2000’s parties will debut on New Year’s Eve at the Lisbon Congress Center in Belém. The focus will be the millennial generation, the first contact with technology such as the classic MSN chats or the birth of the social network Hi5. The soundtrack will include numerous pop artists such as Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, and Christina Aguilera, and classic Portuguese TV series such as “Inspector Max” and “Kim Possible”. Until now, the confirmed artists are Blasted Mechanism, Mundo Secreto, and Cali from Flow 212. It’s going to be an unforgettable revivalist show!

You can buy tickets online already, and there are a variety of packages available, such as those for groups or people with disabilities.

Réveillon in Lisbon on a boat

One of the best ways to spend the Réveillon in Lisbon is on board a beautiful boat with a privileged view of the fireworks. Several cruises offer dinner and are very intimate events, but being on the Tagus means already a magical and unforgettable New Year’s Eve.

Réveillon Royal Palace

The eighth edition of the Royal Palace Réveillon takes place in a space full of magic and excellence. With an impeccable location in the center of Lisbon, Pavilhão Carlos Lopes is the stage for this event.

Each year, the Royal Palace receives a growing number of foreign audiences. It continues to expand the concept internationally, establishing itself as the Portuguese New Year’s Eve event with the highest international profile.

It also includes a guaranteed quality program with good music and lots of entertainment until the early hours so that it will be the best night of your year.

Welcome 2023 the way it deserves: with a great party!
